Traditionally, with a few exceptions, the names of the authors of the articles were not provided at the time of the publication of the monthly fascicle.
For The American Whig Review, these fascicles were meant to be reunited every 6 months in a volume, for which an Index was provided. The name of the author was then sometimes included.
